Meet Our Owner
A DC native, Curls and the City owner Rhonda has over 20 years of experience in the cosmetology industry. Her experience in hair care started at age 15, working in her aunt’s salon. As a teenager, Rhonda learned the core techniques of applying extensions, hair coloring, and styling. In November 2007, she graduated from Bennett Career Institute Cosmetology program in Washington, DC. She is experienced with naturally curly hair and is a certified Deva Cut/curly cut specialist. Rhonda is also a certified hair loss practitioner. She is expertly trained to provide guidance and solutions for hair and scalp disorders. Rhonda currently resides in Washington, DC and is excited to provide outstanding services to her customers.
